Privacy Policy
Clawson Insurance Advisors ("CIA," "we," "us," or "our") is a DBA of Alpha Omega Insurance Agency, a Texas-licensed independent insurance agency (Texas Department of Insurance license number 19304). We are based in Plano, Texas and serve clients across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us for an insurance quote, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it short and in plain language.
Last updated: April 30, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you when you fill out one of our lead forms — most commonly through a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) Lead Ad or the contact form on our website. Depending on the form, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your ZIP code
- Your current policy renewal timing (for example, when your auto or home policy is up for renewal)
- Whether you're interested in an auto quote (or other lines of insurance)
We may also collect basic technical information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. See Section 5 for more on cookies and tracking.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, dates of birth, or vehicle identification numbers through our lead forms. If we need that information to prepare a formal quote, we'll ask for it directly during our follow-up conversation and collect it through secure channels.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you give us to:
- Prepare insurance quotes. We enter the information you share into our quoting tools (most often EzLynx) so we can shop coverage with the carriers we represent.
- Follow up with you. We use your phone, email, and text to reach out about your quote, ask any clarifying questions we need, schedule a 15-minute quote call, and remind you about your renewal timing.
- Deliver and service policies. If you choose to purchase a policy through us, we use your information to issue the policy, send documents, process changes, and assist with claims.
- Improve our marketing. We may use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand which ads and pages perform best.
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell your information to anyone — ever.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only with the people and systems we need to in order to do our job as your agent:
- Insurance carriers. When you ask for a quote, we share the information they need to provide one. We only share with carriers that are actively being considered for your quote.
- Our quoting and CRM platforms. Your information is stored and processed in GoHighLevel (our customer relationship management system, used to keep track of your inquiry and follow-ups) and EzLynx (our comparative quoting platform, used to obtain rates from carriers).
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as email and SMS delivery providers, only to the extent they need it to deliver the service.
- Legal and regulatory requirements. If we're required to share information by law, court order, or by the Texas Department of Insurance, we will.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third-party marketers.
4. SMS, Phone, and Email Consent (TCPA)
When you submit a lead form, you are giving Clawson Insurance Advisors permission to contact you by phone call, text message (SMS), and email about your insurance quote and related follow-up. Some of these communications may be sent using automated dialing or texting technology. Consent to receive these communications is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply to text messages.
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the quoting process — typically a few messages over a few weeks while we work on your quote, then occasional servicing messages if you become a client.
You can opt out at any time:
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text from us. You can reply HELP for help.
- Phone calls: ask us to stop calling, and we will.
- Emails: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or just reply and ask us to remove you.
Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional or servicing messages related to a policy you currently hold with a carrier (for example, a policy document delivery), but you can still ask us to limit how we contact you.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to help us understand how it's being used. The most notable tracking tool we use is the Meta Pixel (from Facebook/Meta), which helps us:
- Measure how well our ads perform
- Show our ads to people who have visited our site or who look like our existing clients
- Understand which pages on our site lead to lead form submissions
The Meta Pixel may share information about your visit with Meta, including the pages you viewed and actions you took (such as submitting a form). Meta may use that information consistent with its own privacy policy.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage Meta-related ad targeting through your Facebook account settings. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal — we'll honor it where required by law.
6. Your Rights
If you live in Texas
Texas does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law that mirrors California's, but we believe in giving you reasonable control over your information regardless of where you live. You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we have. Request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it. Tell us if anything is wrong and we'll fix it.
- Delete it. Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we're required to keep by law (insurance records often have minimum retention periods).
- Stop contacting you. Opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails as described in Section 4.
If you live in California or another state with a privacy law
In addition to the rights above, you may have additional rights under your state's law, which can include:
- The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you
- The right to know the categories of sources, the purposes for collecting, and the categories of third parties we share with
- The right to delete personal information we collected from you (subject to legal exceptions)
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
- The right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — we do not sell your personal information, but our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" under some state laws, and you can opt out by adjusting cookie settings or by contacting us
- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We'll respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (generally 45 days).
You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
7. Data Retention and Security
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. In practice:
- Quote inquiries that don't become policies are typically retained for up to 3 years so we can re-engage at your renewal.
- Policies we've placed for you are retained for the period required by Texas insurance regulations and our carrier agreements (typically the life of the policy plus a number of years afterward).
- Marketing data is kept until you opt out or ask us to delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls in GoHighLevel and EzLynx, and limiting access to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.
If we ever have a data breach that affects your information, we'll notify you and any required regulators consistent with applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults shopping for insurance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to give you a heads-up — for example, by email or a notice on our website.
Your continued use of our services after we post an updated policy means you accept the changes.
